Sonrise Notes for March 18th....

 

Kutless performs at Mall of America...BarlowGirl was hanging with spring breakers in Ft. Walton Beach, FL this week, and did a special concert with Johnny Diaz and Todd Agnew. Not a bad spring for the sisters. Up next for them is the Family Christian Cruise and tour from Tampa to Cozumel and Costa Maya next month.

...Group 1 Crew is part of what’s called Christian music’s largest tour; Winter Jam 2012. It’s hosted by Newsong, and includes Peter Furler, Kari Jobe, Sanctus Real, Building 429, Dara Maclean, For King & Country and a bunch more. Tonight they hit the stage at Peoria Civic Center in Illinois.

 

Dove-Logo...As part of our tribute to the upcoming 43rd Annual Dove Awards, we’re highlighting Steven Curtis Chapman this week. He’s nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year. Steven is no stranger to winning a variety of awards. In fact, he’s won four Grammy Awards for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel album, an American Music Award for Favorite Inspirational Contemporary Artist, a GMA Dove for Song of the Year, nine Doves for Songwriter of the Year, seven Doves for Male Vocalist of the Year, six for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year, six for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year… AND 12 others in a variety of other categories. The Doves take place April 19 at the fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta and airs the following Sunday on GMC (Gospel Music Channel).
