One of our favorite things about Sonrise is hearing from people who’ve been touched by something they heard on the show. Whether it’s a song that made an impact on your life, or a story that someone shared, it’s great to know that it’s helped in some way, so if there is something that has touched you in a special way, we’d love to hear about it. Everybody has a story, and we’d love to hear yours.

For some of us, Spring Has Sprung, but many parts of our country is still getting plenty of snow.   Leigh Ann Skoda is a mom of three in West Point, NE, who recently lost her husband to cancer at the young age of 42.  You can imagine that is hard enough, but the added pressure of being responsible for everything… managing the house and raising 3 kids was adding up.  Brian Scholl, who drives a FedEx truck around her area, saw Leigh Ann struggling one day to put air in her tires. She asked him for some help, and he learned of Leigh Ann’s situation.  Brian told her to reach out any time she needed some help. Recently, there was a snow storm that left Leigh Ann's porch and sidewalk covered in snow.  Without delivering a package or ringing the doorbell, Brian stopped in front of her house and started shoveling snow.  Brian didn’t realize it, but Leigh Ann’s front door security camera captured everything.  She posted the video to her Facebook page, publicly thanking Brian for his act of kindness, and that random act went viral!
