If you’re a fan of the TV show “Fixer Upper,” you probably already know that Chip and Joanna Gaines are ending the show soon. On a positive note though, an episode that aired last month ended up having an even better ending than what was on TV. Chip and Joanna teamed up with Tim Tebow to transform a run-down Waco, TX house into an Americans With Disabilities Act-compliant home for Melissa and Jody Copp and their two sons, Calan, 9, and Lawson, 5, who both use wheelchairs. After the show aired, Chip reached out to everyone from his Instagram account and asked folks to donate to help pay off Melissa and Jody’s mortgage. Two days later… it was a done deal! Enough donations came in to pay off the mortgage and it was a blessing for the family. See the whole story with pictures and video.
