A few weeks ago, we told you about a message in a bottle that traveled 4,000 miles. Another message didn’t go quite as far, but made a lasting impact. Last year, after battling brain cancer for three years, 35-year-old Kyle Cass of Midland, MI died at a hospice. His wife Samantha, and children, Kollin and Keagan, wanted to celebrate Kyle’s memory on their first Father’s Day without him. So they tied cards they made for Kyle to balloons and sent them to him in Heaven. Sometime later, Samantha got a Facebook message from a woman over 500 miles away in Ontario, Canada, saying the balloons and cards landed on their porch. It was nice of them to contact her, but that wasn’t all they did. The couple was so touched by the cards that they sent the balloons back with gifts, not just for Kollin and Keagan, but also Samantha and even their dog, Buster!
