Brandon+Heath...Brandon Heath is one of the nominees in the upcoming Grammy awards. He picked up three nominations total; one for Best Christian Music Performance, one for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song, and one for Best Christian Music Album. The Grammy Awards are coming up February 12 in Los Angeles. 


...We're into a new year and a couple of great movies just opened this weekend. One that many are already familiar with "Beauty and the Beast 3D" opened Friday, and a new one, "Joyful Noise." It's the story of a small town in Georgia that has fallen on hard times, but the people are counting on the Divinity Church choir to lift their spirits by winning the national Joyful Noise competition. This week's birthday girl Dolly Parton, who hasn't made a major feature since 1992's "Straight Talk," stars in it.

...Sonrise birthday wishes this week to Jeremy Camp, Eddie Carswell of Newsong, Point of Grace member Heather Payne has one Wednesday and Carman celebrates his Thursday.


...Sonrise newcomer Jamie Grace is nominated for a Grammy award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song for her hit "Hold Me," which she co-wrote with TobyMac and Christopher Stephens. We'll find out if she wins when the Grammy awards are presented February 12 in Los Angeles.
