Many families and offices play Secret Santa, but a recent Secret Santa went above and beyond for a young Idaho family. Wyatt Rees was diagnosed with ALS before his 33rd birthday in August, and is now confined to a wheelchair and unable to walk or talk on his own. His wife Mindy worked as a teacher before his diagnosis, but now cares for him fulltime, while also taking care of their four children, ages four months, two, five and seven. Many of their friends and family do what they can to help, but last week, an unidentified person reached out to EastIdahoNews.com to find deserving families who needed help to pay for medical bills and other unexpected costs. The Rees family was nominated, and the Secret Santa gave them $10,000! That unnamed person has a goal to give away $200,000 to deserving residents in east Idaho. See the whole story.
