You can probably imagine living on the streets is never easy, but during the cold winter months, it has to be even tougher. You may have heard about the storm that hit the UK in February, called “Beast from the East”. As the temperatures dropped, the people behind the “Keep Bristol Warm” initiative kicked their efforts up a notch. They’re a charitable group in Bristol England who “challenge the perception that homeless people are any different from the rest of us,” and they organized a week-long service to give warm winter clothing to the homeless. All over the city you could find coats, hats, scarves and other items tied to light posts and fences. Each article of clothing included a note with the words, “I am not lost.” Check out the story.
