Four-year-old Joseph Shewey was born with a form of cerebral palsy. He’s non-verbal and needs a walker just to stand. During one of his many physical therapy visits, he met Hilary Morris, a woman who suffered a variety of injuries in a car crash. Hilary and Joseph found ways to communicate, play, even inspire each other week after week. Then Hilary got the idea that Joey should enter Awesome 3000, which is an annual fun run put on by the Salem-Keizer Education Foundation. Joey did, and the finish was amazing! It’s something inspirational that you can see and share it with someone you’d like to inspire!
