One of the best new traditions of college football started this year with the University of Iowa, and it’s so good, it has gone viral! Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium sits across from University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, so this year, just after the first quarter, everyone in the stadium turns to the hospital and waves to the kids! A sold out crowd of 70,000 waved to the kids on the top level the first week of the college season and of course, the kids waved back with big smiles! Fans are also encouraged to donate money to the hospital for every touchdown the Hawkeyes score during the season as part of the "Touchdowns for Kids" program, which raised $42,000 last season. See what 70,000 random act heroes look like!
