Morgan’s Wonderland has been open for seven years, but you may not know their story. It’s a 25-acre theme park in San Antonio, TX for individuals with special needs. The non-profit is the first theme park of its kind in the world. Gordon Hartman developed it with his daughter, Morgan, in mind. She deals with cognitive and physical challenges. Rides custom-designed to accommodate wheelchair riders means that every family member can enjoy the fun! The Wonderland Express train, the Off-Road Adventure, the Whirling Wonder Ferris wheel, boating and fishing, live entertainment, and even Inspiration Island are some of the attractions. Best of all, admission for those with special needs is free! If it sounds like somewhere you or a family member would enjoy, check out Morgan’s Wonderland.
