Five months after he lost his 20-year-old Daughter Abbie, Bill Conner set out to do something to honor her life. He decided to travel 2,600 miles -- from his hometown of Madison, WI, to Fort Lauderdale, FL -- to visit Broward Health Medical Center, the hospital that recovered Abbey's organs for donation back in January. The same time that was happening, 21-year-old Loumonth Jack Jr. had a heart attack and was told his days were numbered. Abbie’s heart was perfect for him and she saved his life. Bill informed the Florida donation center about his ride on her behalf, so the group sent letters to every recipient of her organs, asking if they'd be interested in meeting the woman's father. The only person who responded was Loumonth. The two met during his bike ride, on Father’s Day, and you can see the rest of the story.
